Cinnamon & Fruit Snack Mix

Today as we celebrate this Memorial Day Holiday with family and friends, on picnics and having barbecues, enjoying the warm summer weather, I hope that we will remember the brave and selfless people who have given everything in service to their country and to us.  I am truly grateful for them.

Sam and I are going to spend the day exploring a town along the coast and strolling down sandy beaches.  I hope your day is lovely as well!

A homemade snack mix is the perfect treat to take along when traveling, whether in the car on a road trip or on a plane.  Easy to carry, easy to pack and store, yummy, and as healthy as you want it to be.  The combination of ingredients you can put together is really endless too.  I think this particular combination is pretty tasty- but feel free to adjust it to fit your needs.


Cinnamon & Fruit Snack Mix
-3 cups cinnamon Teddy Grahams crackers
-2 cups Ritz Munchable Buttery Thins
-1 cup natural dried cherries
-1 cup yogurt covered cranberries
-1/2 cup yogurt covered raisins
-1/2 dark chocolate pomegranates
-1/2 -1 cup nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds- cinnamon glazed nuts would be yummy!)


Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.  Put in a Ziploc bag or store in an airtight container.
The combination of the cinnamon teddy grahams, yogurt covered fruit, and the dried fruit is really, really good.   It is a great snack to munch on throughout the day or to throw in your bag for your next trip!
