Silent Night, Holy Night- Easy Art

Is there anything better than left-over turkey sandwiches?

Nothing is coming to mind right now.

So what are the plans for today?  Are you hitting the shopping malls searching for the best deals?  Spending the day watching football?  Or maybe just relaxing at home with your holiday guests?  Whatever the case may be I have a quick and easy craft idea that can be done in a matter of minutes, or during halftime.  It is this pretty Christmas Canvas.

Grab a canvas.  I used a 9 x 16, the smaller size.

And a package of wooden letters.  These came from Hobby Lobby but any craft store should have these or something similar.

Next layout your design. The beams coming down from the star?  Toothpicks!

After I laid out the design I just used some craft glue to assemble it and then gave everything a quick coat of white spray paint.

The letters and star also got painted with some white glitter paint that doesn’t show up in the pictures but in person it is so pretty and subtle.

I bet you can have it done and drying before the next kick off.

Want to know a secret?  Tomorrow is my birthday.  I don't know exactly what is in store, but I'm excited to find out!
