Roses are Red, Violets are Blue...

and I have a great gift idea for you!

We often call my dad Ed.  His name is actually Richard.  Somehow several years ago he got a hold of a large, gardening hat with the name Ed written across the top.  And anytime he went out and worked in the yard he would "transform" into the gardener Ed.  We often joked that Ed loved his plants more than his family, or that Ed secretly snuck out at night to sing his plants to sleep, or tuck them in bed with a blanket.  Which isn't true of course.  What is true is that my parents have always had the gift of a green thumb.  Their yard is always beautiful, filled with gorgeous flowers and soft, green grass.  I grew up eating tomatoes, peas, squash, and peppers right from the garden.  There is nothing better!

If you are looking for a gift idea for someone who knows the secret to gardening then how about a gift basket that will have them looking forward to spring and all things that grow?

Things to include in this basket are:
  • Gardening Tools
  • Gloves
  • Seed Packets
  • Fertilizer
  • Watering Can
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Plants & Flowers
  • Pots and Plant Containers
