Travel Binder Labels

This week and next week I am going to be sharing all kinds of travel themed ideas perfect for getting ready for summer vacations.  Everything from printable luggage tags, games in the car, a recipe, and even a giveaway all around the travel theme, plus more!  I LOVE to travel, in fact it is one of our little family's all-time-favorite activities.  And I am definitely in the mood for some awesome summer vacations.  Even if you don't have a vacation planned for this summer there will still be some things for you to enjoy!

This little tip is something I learned from my dad and his many years coaching traveling soccer teams or taking long business trips.  Before each trip we put together a travel binder (or folder if it is a quick trip) to organize all our important documents.  It helps to avoid last minute stress at the airport and problems that can arise when checking into a hotel.  And I've made some cute printable labels that can help in the organizing process.  Because everything works better when it's been cutesified, right?

The labels can be printed off on Avery Shipping Labels, or any comparable brand, and then attached to the front of folders or sheet protectors.   You can also just print them on regular card stock and attach with tape or glue as well.

  8. This is a very cool idea. We are terribly disorganized, so anything extra helps! My travel tip for this summer is: bring entertainment for the kids. We have been going on road trips the last few years, and Dish has a new app out called Dish remote Access. It's free, works with my Sling Adapter, and lets me take all our home TV and DVR with us on our tablets. I can set the kids cartoons up in the back seat, and more often than not they watch for a few and then quickly nod off. I get 2 weeks vacation from Dish each year, and this app definitely makes the long road hauls seem a bit more pleasant and short!
