The ingredients:
- 1 can of chicken or 2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced
- 1/2 an apple, cubed
- 1/2 cup grapes
- 1/3 cup pecans (optional)
The easy how-to:
In a medium bowl mix the mayo and honey together. Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover and chill for a half hour. Serve on bread, rolls, or with crackers. Depending on how much filling you use and the size of your bread this recipe makes about 4-6 sandwiches. Because of the juices in the grapes and the apples this won't really last for longer than a couple of days, it gets kind of watery. But no worries, it usually gets gobbled up before that happens!
I just wanted to drop a little note to let you know how much I adore your blog. It along with some of my other favorites has inspired me to start a blog of my own. I know you're super busy but I would just love it if you could check it out and let me know what you think. I’m just getting started so any advance you could give would be very much appreciated. ~ Stephanie

ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! I make a similar one, with lemon juice instead of honey for a little tangy-ness. Can't wait to try it!
