"Yay! You're about to be a mom! You're about to have a nervous breakdown and sleep will be a distant memory! Congratulations!"
While you probably won't see that phrase in a Hallmark card anytime soon, there is a little bit of truth to it right? So here is a little gift you can take to your next baby shower to help the soon-to-be mom prepare for the big change in her life.
A New Mother Survival Kit!
To make this gift you will need:
- Basket
- Ribbon
- Baby blanket & lap blanket
- Baby lotion & nice fragrance lotion
- A child's book & any advice book (I used What to Expect the First Year)
- A treat- I highly recommend chocolate. But then we all know how I feel about chocolate.
I sure could have used a gift like that when I was having children. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I have so many friends that are expecting right now...as well as myself...so I will definitly have to keep this in mind for shower gifts!!
