Baby Shower Gift- Survival Kit

"Yay!  You're about to be a mom!  You're about to have a nervous breakdown and sleep will be a distant memory!  Congratulations!"

While you probably won't see that phrase in a Hallmark card anytime soon, there is a little bit of truth to it right?  So here is a little gift you can take to your next baby shower to help the soon-to-be mom prepare for the big change in her life.



A New Mother Survival Kit!

To make this gift you will need:
  • Basket
  • Ribbon
  • Baby blanket & lap blanket
  • Baby lotion & nice fragrance lotion
  • A child's book & any advice book (I used What to Expect the First Year)
  • A treat- I highly recommend chocolate.  But then we all know how I feel about chocolate.
Tie the coordinating items together with some ribbon and print the following tag:

    The hospital one is filled with all his favorite candy, soda and snacks. The Daddy Survival Kit is more meaningful with specific items and sayings to go with (sayings can be found below). Survival Prepper
