Creative Print

I recently bought a small white frame at IKEA, oh lovely IKEA, to put on the shelf in my craft nook.  I know my crafting area is nothing compared to this but it is the best craft space I have had since I’ve been married and I love it.  My husband just recently hung the shelves for me and I’ve been collecting little things to organize my supplies and make it cute.

For the frame I wanted to make a print that would inspire me every time I looked at it.  I absolutely adore the talk Happiness, Your Heritage by Deiter F. Uchtdorf.  One of my favorite passages from the talk is:

“You might say, “I’m not the creative type. When I sing, I’m always half a tone above or below the note. I cannot draw a line without a ruler. And the only practical use for my homemade bread is as a paperweight or as a doorstop.”

If that is how you feel, think again, and remember that you are spirit daughters of the most creative Being in the universe. Isn’t it remarkable to think that your very spirits are fashioned by an endlessly creative and eternally compassionate God? Think about it—your spirit body is a masterpiece, created with a beauty, function, and capacity beyond imagination.”

If that’s not the perfect thought to go in a craft room I don’t know what is.  I wanted to make it personal though, so in the print I wrote “I am” instead of “you are.”

Do you want the print for yourself?  Do you want ten color combos to choose from?  Well it must be your lucky day.  Just click on the image of your choice and download the PDF, sized to be 5 x7.  If you need a different size just send me an email letting me know the size, doodlebrie@gmail.com, and I can make that happen.

  3. Oh, I forgot to mention that while your craft area may seem small, er, compact, there is an upside! It looks like it can be easily blocked off from mobile little kiddies!
