Some things to consider putting in your Mexican-inspired basket:
- Salsa (lots of varieties)
- Taco Shells
- Tostadas
- Re-fried Beans
- Green Chiles
- Jalapenos
- Spices
- Cooking Utensils
- Recipes
- I found some great potholders and an apron with a chile pepper pattern
This gift tag also includes a recipe for Green Chile Casserole. It's my grandma's recipe and it is one of the dishes that made an appearance at our Christmas dinner this year. Yes, we had Mexican food for Christmas, no ham and potatoes for us! I told you we loved it! I highly recommend printing two copies, one for yourself to keep and one to include in the wedding gift.
Mexican food is my favorite! Great basket! Love the recipe too. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love mexican food! This is such a cute presentation and gift!
ReplyDeleteMy FAV!!
ReplyDeleteWe make a recipe that's very similar to this and it's YUMMY! I'm pretty sure I could eat salsa and chips everyday.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fantastic idea. I love Mexican food too and hope someone would give me something like this. I'm keeping this one in my Favourites! Just wanted to thank you for linking up on my Thriving on Thursdays linky party last week. It's on again tomorrow (Thursday Australian time) and we'd love to see what you've been up to.
