Establishing Holiday Traditions

I know it might seem a bit odd to be talking about holiday traditions right after the holiday season.  We all have traditions for Thanksgiving or Christmas, those special things we do each and every year to celebrate.  A lot of us even have traditions for Easter, Fourth of July, or Halloween.  Those aren't the holidays I'm talking about today.  I'm talking about some of the smaller or lesser known holidays throughout the year.  I love any and every holiday because they give us an opportunity to turn a regular day into an extra special day.  We have a chance to make a memory and create a special family moment.

But of course we're all busy, and real life can't be ignored.  So you may think that you don't have time to find a way to celebrate all the different holidays.  Well I have good news for you...you do!  To make it easy I created this helpful holiday reminder with one holiday for each month and one simple activity you can do to celebrate.  During this new year make traditions.  Make memories.

Yes I know that Washington was not actually born on that day, but the National Federal Holiday is celebrated on the 20th. You can check the above link if you want! I think it is always just celebrated on the third Monday of February so it is different every year. :)
